A Million Acts of Love began with a promise. At just 14 years old, Felix Townsin set out to honour the memory of his little sister Lexi by inspiring one million acts of love in her name.
The idea grew from Spread Some Lexi Love, a campaign Felix launched three years earlier with the simple goal of inspiring 100 people to perform an act of kindness in Lexi's honour. Thousands responded, showing how one small idea could inspire something extraordinary.
In 2024, Felix set an even more ambitious goal: one million acts of love. Individuals, schools, businesses and communities around the world joined the campaign. By December 16, 2024—what would have been Lexi's 12th birthday—they had surpassed that goal, inspiring more than one million acts of love.
But reaching a million was only the beginning.
Through his own experiences writing Don't Floss Your Toes, creating the documentary Me, My Sister, and Blau, and helping raise more than $30,000 for Blau syndrome research, Felix had already discovered what a young person could accomplish with the right encouragement and support. He wanted other young people to have those same opportunities to turn their ideas into something meaningful.
Today, A Million Acts of Love Foundation carries that vision forward through its Changemaker Program, providing education, mentorship, resources, connections, and funding to help young people turn their ideas into meaningful projects that make a difference in their communities and beyond.
